GOD’S KITCHEN WAS A BLAST!!!!!!

last night God's Kitchen was a blast, though spent like 45mins alone in the global underground tent listening to the sounds of Hybrid and Nick Warren. it was only 1/4 into Nick's set that i was pulled back to the main arena. ah well, i wanted to be with everyone else all the same as i wanted to be smacked out alone in the GU tent. i was getting really pissed with the peak time trance they were playing in the main tent. i find trance to be monotonous if listened to for too many hours straight, the event lasted till 7.30am. a lot of obvious differences between SG and here, for instance 95% of the crowd is fucked on drugs, and the people here really know their music. also some subtle differences between the crowd at the main tent and gu tent. main tent was filled with too many cheesy,dorky and candy ravers, and i think its inherent with the music. i am quite upset not to witness a group of shufflers doing the melbourne shuffle. i was kind of suprised to find GU tent relatively smaller and emptier in terms of the size proportion, but people started coming in just before Nick Warren took to the decks. the crowd at the GU tent seemed more mature and old, and there were people there fucked on alcohol alone, i supposed progressive house,trance,breaks aren't that drug orientated music compared to the stuff in the main room. and i find progressive does not get monotonous over a period of time, because there is more art in the build up, the programming of tracks, the diversity in the djs selection of music. Hybrid's set was progressive and breaky, but nick warren took over nicely with soothing, deep, thumping progressive trance. what a transition! i found it suprisingly diffucult to get off my feet in the main arena.

it was also quite refreshing to meet new people and see my mates party their ass off like no tomorrow... anyways 14 days left to my trip... it can't get any better then this.
