i did a test at SAE today, a test to see if i qualifiy for the course of study; diploma in audio engineering. the test consisted of 2 questions that caught me off guard, only to find out it was a test to see if your level of the english language was adequate. i don't know the results, but my answers were very vauge, let alone my handwriting was that of a 4 year old, i was struggling to find a good enough answer to each question.i hope they won't access me through the meaning behind my content, but hopefully my english alone. i hope i didnt make myself look like a fool... they were as follows ....
1.which course do you intend to pursue and why have you chosen this course of study?
i want to earn a musical and technical backbone,
i want to create a piece of work that can be defined pleasing to the ears of the general public, ultimately creating a digital interface between its maker and the listener, and through this course, these are 1 of the few things i believe i can achieve.
2.what do you aim to do once you completed this course of study?
a person working in a relevant field such as the media or music industry
e.g, a producer, editor, a person who masters recordings for artists.
for e.g, taking raw material and putting them together and tweaking them to create a 'piece'
my actual answers were a lot worse... i just hope they're not thinking 'oh, what an idiot'
