i never really understood what ambient/shoegazer/trip hop music was about, until a friend lend me a couple of cds

i'm really starting to dig Bowery Electric's 'Beat'
just so chilled.
most of the tracks have minimal melody but the ambient noises just seem to suck you.. into deep. if you want something to calm your mind listen to Bowery Electric. i'll probably leave the cd on running the entire night.
