yes ... i bought a 2nd hand Pioneer EFX 500 today, cant get a proper signal return from the effector into my mixer. so now my effectors work as a direct output to the amp, by doing so the overall sound just isn't as large. hopefully its a problem with the mixers return to main input jack and not a problem with the effector, least my warranty card for the mixer expires in july. actually i'm quite dissapointed, now that i've tried probably the best effector in the market, i am bored already, just cannot see many ways in which i can infuse those effects into a set. first let me get the hang of my decks! i keep saying that becos CDs have become a piece of cake compared to vinyl mixing. not as if i'm very good, but i struggle with vinyls, still not use to slowing or speeding up the records. hell i've been mixing vinyls for 8 months already.

lunch at DOME was power, had their cheese cracker sausage something. anyways probably the best meal i had for the week. i also visited my aunts catholic bookstore, i just found out she and her friends opened one!

edit: i went down to valentine to check out my mixer, it seems that the efx 500 is not compatible with my mixer and many other mixers, not compatible meaning the return send jack does not function the way it should. anyways i spoke to 3 other fellas they told me its normal to output your effector to the amp itself, i still dont quite agree with that, i wanna be able to set effects to individual channels instead of affecting all the channels at once. i was told by a lao jiao that you need an aux output on your mixer. hmmm it's getting a bit too cheem for me, even though im a fucking audio engineering student.
