hide out was great!!!!! though my mixing wasn't spot on, while trying to adjust to equipment i've never laid hands on. i screwed up on my first transition from track 1 to 2, it was too late before i realise the MASTER TEMPO switch was on. FUCK THAT! think it was my tracklist that saved the night for me, and my friends, half of them pretty wasted. my alumni were on their feets through out most of the set. i had my new pair of technics DJ1200 headphones on through out, and it helped isolate any outside sound, which also meant i could not hear my mates cheer me on. the only thing apparent was the bass from the main speakers. but it was all good lah! know what? after my set, the co-owner of the joint shook my hand and has invited me to another session next month!!! i am really greatful for the people who made this happen in the first place. big thank you to all my friends, who made this night a memorable one. i mean my 2 friends who usually get cranky to trance actually stood up and dance. that is just so rad.
